Pavan Patel (b. 1992)

Pavan Patel’s work is deeply rooted in a passion for the natural world, particularly wood and its endless creative possibilities. Although drawn to craft from an early age, his artistic pursuits were set aside while he followed a more traditional path, completing a master’s in architectural engineering.

Today, he combines architectural precision with artistic instinct, creating works that range from balanced compositions to expressive, abstract forms, from wall pieces to freeform sculptures. Each piece begins with the wood itself, which guides the final outcome.

As Pavan explains:
“Each piece of wood is unique and carries its own story. My vision evolves as I work with the material, and often the final sculpture differs from my original idea, sometimes in surprising ways. That’s what I enjoy most about the process.”

Trained in straight lines and defined structures, Pavan’s work moves away from architectural rigidity, embracing fluid curves and organic forms inspired by nature.
