HISTORY OF LINLEY
Founded by David Linley in 1985, LINLEY has a world-renowned reputation for fusing striking design with exemplary craftsmanship. Though it began modestly, it created an immediate stir, not least because David was the son of Princess Margaret (sister of Queen Elizabeth II) and celebrated photographer, Lord Snowdon. The British public had never seen a member of the royal family in a vocation - making with their own hands and serving customers. In the 1980s that was revolutionary - we’ve been pushing boundaries ever since.
DISCOVER THE WORLD OF LINLEY
LINLEY interior design was borne as a natural extension of the company and following a repeated clamour from clients. Exquisitely designed and fashioned interiors with an unassailable British pedigree are the hallmarks of what is otherwise a distinctively un-signatured studio.
When LINLEY officially opened its doors in 1985, it pushed back the boundaries of bespoke craftsmanship and forged a reputation for uniting the worlds finest designers with peerless master craftsmen, dedicated to producing masterpieces and intergenerational heirlooms, with meticulous attention to detail, distinction and flair.
FITTED CABINETRY & KITCHENS
The Kitchens and Cabinetry division shares the values that have brought LINLEY international acclaim. Novel design made possible by rare capabilities and assured construction. We work on fitted projects across the globe with commissions ranging from bespoke kitchens and walk-in wardrobes to panelled libraries, studies, cinemas and wine rooms.
