Boehmer et Bassenge Jewellery Box

1/3

The Boehmer et Bassenge Jewellery Box was created to showcase some of the world’s most extraordinary stones. The boxes were commissioned to house contemporary jewellery pieces by Boehmer et Bassenge — jewellers of royal heritage, known in the 18th century for their work with King Louis XV, and today for producing pieces centred on exceptionally rare, flawless diamonds that have achieved record-breaking auction prices.

Crafted from hand-dyed lavender veneer, each box is shaped with faceted planes that reference the brilliance of a cut stone. The lid is detailed with the Boehmer et Bassenge branding, rendered in delicate gold marquetry. On opening the hinged, mirrored lid, an angled velvet-lined display tray rises with a calibrated motion, presenting the jewellery in a way that enhances its natural brilliance.

This bespoke piece reflects a shared commitment to precision, rarity, and design that honours both legacy and innovation.
