Andrea Newman (b. 1957 )

Andrea Newman studied at Gloucestershire College of Art and Design and Brighton Polytechnic before establishing herself as a plein air oil painter in Suffolk, where she has worked since 1980. Her work has been selected for the Discerning Eye and shown at the Royal Institute of Oil Painters at the Mall Galleries, London. Earlier exhibition credits include Christchurch Mansion, Gainsborough's House and The Eastern Open, at which she won the prize for drawing. She now works primarily on larger studio pieces.
