LINLEY

INTERIOR DESIGN

Chesa Futura | St.Moritz, Switzerland

CURVED FORMS

LINLEY designed a range of bespoke furniture echoing the contoured walls of this hi-tech timber-clad Alpine structure. Bespoke furniture included an asymmetrical dining table, a detachable bar in the shape of a sledge, a coffee table in the shape of the building, a curved Helix sofa, a six meter long Helix sideboard and a variety of internally lit plinths to display the clients prized skiing bronzes.

ALPINE ENVIRONMENTS

The soft furnishings were chosen with warmth and comfort in mind, and there is an emphasis on natural materials, fur throws and sheepskin rugs, with chairs upholstered in pony skin and cowhide. The overall scheme references the Alpine environment and the unusual shape of the building.

UNDULATED THEME

This outstanding state-of-the-art 3-story Normal Foster apartment building is spectacularly located overlooking Lake St Moritz and has a bubble-like form. The challenge for LINLEY was to work with the undulating theme and create two separate private interiors, both modern and snug.
