Jude Hardy (b. 1961)

Jude studied Art and Design at Windsor College in Berkshire before beginning a career in the advertising and design industry in London. In 2000, she moved with her husband to the Suffolk coast. After building her career and raising her family, Jude returned to painting, rediscovering a lifelong passion that had remained an important part of her life.

Working primarily in oils, Jude draws inspiration from still life, nature and the landscapes of Suffolk. Her paintings often feature carefully collected objects that hold personal resonance and meaning, while the surrounding countryside and coastline provide a continual source of inspiration. Immersing herself in nature through walks among the trees and beaches with her dogs, she captures the beauty and atmosphere of the Suffolk landscape in her work.
