Framed in an ash bespoke tray frame.
Menant lets the sea water and soft water meet on the canvas: deep turquoise and cobalt blue varnishes flow side by side. They only merge to create a translucent crackle which is organic and decorative. Water in all its forms is a recurring theme in Menant’s work, which was a collected body of work exhibited in a show called “Water Awareness”. Since then, 10% of all sales go to the WaterAid charity.
Water is life.
Sandra is an independent artist working from her Wimbledon Studio in London. She loves making compositions, abstract or semi-figurative, to engage the imagination, and create emotional bonds between her paintings and the art lovers’ inner feelings. Palette choice and texture produce dynamic, original canvases to bring life to your space. Sandra is a colourist, with a preference for vibrant pigments: her style is inspired by travels and iconic cultural motifs, plants and atmospheres.
Her work is catalogued in Series: Fruit Routes in progress, South East Asia, Japan, Volcanic, Flowers, and this website is being expanded all the time.
Private viewings, Solo shows or Collective Exhibitions are an essential part of her work: she is proud to share her original creations with art lovers and sells to private art collectors from Singapore to New York, Europe and the U.K.
