Cancer pagurus, known as the edible or Brown Crab, cast in bronze. The work is finished with a ’natural’ bronze patina and set with natural wax. This is a limited-edition series exclusive to LINLEY.         

A playful interpretation of the series’ title, this body of work comes from the artists’ ongoing project working with produce and heritage kitchen gardens around the UK. The ‘Fruits de Mer’ series has been developed from works produced through Alice Andrea Ewing’s collaboration with LINLEY. The shellfish within the series have been sourced with the coastal area of Suffolk and other significant coastal culinary locations within the British Isles. 

Dimensions: Crab 170x140x 55 mm. The work is shown on 190x220 mm Marble plinth.
