A suspended still life of the ordinary and the abstract. The subject of the fish blends out into an abstract landscape, the edge of a plate grounding it in reality before morphing into cutaway spaces and sharp angles.

Jasper Galloway b.1971 is a British artist who recently returned from living in Paris, Montparnasse. Jasper is now based in England, his painting studio in near The New Forest. He studied at Wimbledon School of Art (Degree) then NYU Tische (Masters). Jasperhas exhibited in Aspen, Miami, Paris and London. His creations are influenced by the city and colour of Paris. Geometric shapes, light and texture are his main tools for inspiration.
