Upholstery at LINLEY
Each piece of LINLEY upholstery is designed in-house and hand-made by highly skilled craftsmen, with the emphasis on superb quality and comfort. Our designs include faithful reinterpretations of classics to boldly innovative pieces with every item made using the finest materials and traditional techniques.
The frame of each chair or sofa is custom-made, joined to exact specifications and sprung with coiled springs to provide optimum durability and comfort. Fabrics are hand-cut and fully matched with all seams double sewn for extra strength while cushion fillings can be varied to offer a different 'sit' according to your taste. Attention is paid to every detail of the structure and design in order to attain the degree of exquisite style and comfort particular to LINLEY upholstery.
Many pieces are readily available to purchase from the shop floor at both shops, or alternatively an item can be ordered and upholstered in any fabric or leather of your choosing. Bespoke upholstery designs can also be created by altering the dimensions of pieces already designed according to the customer's preference or an entirely new design can be created.
